Welcome to Sunnook! By shopping with us, you agree to the following terms. Don't worry — we keep things simple and fair. 

1. Scope 
These Terms apply to all offers, orders and contracts concluded through our website with consumers in the European Union. They do not affect any mandatory rights you have under EU or Dutch consumer law.

2. Products  
We describe our products with care. Photographs and colours are illustrative; small variations in finish or projection tone may occur. We may amend or withdraw products, prices and availability at any time before your order is accepted.

3. Prices and payment  
Prices are in euros and include VAT unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges, if any, are shown before you pay. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. If an obvious pricing error occurs, we will contact you before dispatch and may cancel the order if we cannot honour the intended price.

4. Orders and contract  
A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. We may refuse or cancel an order in case of stock issues, payment failure, or a reasonable suspicion of misuse.

5. Delivery  
Delivery times are estimates. Risk in the goods passes to you when you (or a person you nominate) take possession of the parcel. If a carrier is chosen by you, risk may pass on handover to that carrier.

6. Right of withdrawal and returns  
As a consumer you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, as required by EU law.

In addition, Sunnook offers a 30-day return window from delivery, provided the item is unused, complete, and in its original packaging. This commercial policy is more favourable than the statutory minimum and does not limit your 14-day right.

To withdraw or return, notify us at contact page within the relevant period. You must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us. The cost of return shipping is borne by you unless the item is defective or incorrectly supplied. We refund the purchase price, including standard outbound shipping, using the original payment method, after we have received the goods or proof of return.

The right of withdrawal does not apply where the law excludes it (for example, sealed goods unsealed after delivery where they are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons — not typically applicable to our lamps).

7. Warranties and defects  
You are entitled to the statutory guarantee that goods conform to the contract. If a lamp is defective on arrival or fails within the legal conformity period, contact us. We will repair, replace or refund as required by law.

8. Privacy  
We process personal data only as described in our Privacy Policy, in order to fulfil orders, meet legal duties, and improve the shop. We do not sell your data.

9. Liability  
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from use of the website that is outside our reasonable control.

10. Intellectual property  
All content on this website — including text, imagery and the Sunnook name — is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or use it for commercial purposes without permission.

11. Governing law 
These Terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. As a consumer you also enjoy the mandatory protections of the country in which you live. Disputes may be brought before the competent courts of Amsterdam, without prejudice to your right to sue in your country of residence.
